The Open House by Will Eno is a darkly comical and intelligent story of the cyclical deterioration and reincarnation of family. It follows a dysfunctional group led by a sickly and irascible father and his distracted wife. Together, with a lumbering son, a shell-shocked daughter and an uncle in recovery, they transition into a new family when faced with the prospect of selling their home.
