About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

The longest day of the year deserves an epic dance celebration!

Join us for a very special Summer Solstice edition of Ride the Rhythm on Friday, June 20th, where we’ll move with the energy of the sun, the season, and the soul.

I am deeply honored to welcome my beloved teacher Bettina Rothe as our space holder and facilitator for this evening. With many years of experience guiding others through the wisdom of the body, Bettina is a Somatic Leadership Coach and a certified 5Rhythms® Movement Facilitator. She brings a deep belief in conscious stewardship of life and leads from a place of embodied alignment—where body, heart, mind, and soul walk as one.

About Bettina Rothe:

Bettina Rothe is passionate about bringing community together to co-create sacred space in which she invites conscious embodiment and heart centred intimacy. As a somatic coach and licensed 5Rhythms® dance teacher, she draws from a variety of healing movement arts, psychology, meditation, and shamanic practices.

Bettina has been on the medicine path for 25 years. She is currently deepening her work through the addition of plant medicines into her offerings and is training as a Psychedelic Assisted Therapist.

She creates a safe and playful environment for the exploration of creativity and personal growth.

She has been teaching workshops internationally since 1998 and dances mostly in Vancouver, BC with her local community.

What is Conscious Movement Practice/ Ecstatic Dance?

Conscious Movement Practice is a unique style of dance that is all about free expression and letting your body move to the beat of your own drum. Unlike traditional dance classes, there’s no choreography to follow or steps to learn. Instead, it’s all about letting go and allowing the music to guide you, enabling authentic movement exploration. Conscious Movement Practice has been demonstrated to help with stress and anxiety reduction, promoting alignment of mind, body, soul, and spirit. During a Conscious Movement Practice session, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for movement and self-exploration. Everyone, regardless of their dance experience, is welcome to participate and enjoy the fun.
