Come join us for a night of dancing and fun at our first ever silent disco!!!!

Get ready to vibe to the beats of your choice, as you flip between the 3 available channels of music.

Check in at registration, grab your headphones, pick your channel, and dance the night away.

Your headphones will glow according to what channel you're on, so you can find other people to dance with!

Dress Code: dressy casual, cocktail attire 🎀

Drug and alcohol-free event. There will be a vaping / smoking area outside!

What's a Silent Disco?

A silent disco is a fun dance party where everyone listens to music through wireless headphones instead of loudspeakers. This means there’s no loud music blasting through the room, so it’s quieter and more comfortable for everyone. You can choose from different channels of music!

What should I wear? ?

You can dress however you want, but the event’s official ‘dress suggestion’ is dressy casual. So like nice shorts and a cute top, uhhh just like slightly nice LOL

What should I bring?

You should bring a bit of money if you want to buy glow sticks or a water bottle or chips. There will also likely be a food truck outside for if you’re hungry!

Can I bring alcohol or weed?

No, not to this event, since it’s a family friendly event, we are going to be making sure there’s no alcohol or other substances. But you are welcome to go to other clubs etc after the silent disco ends on your own time, as there are quite a few around!

Can I vape?

The building has a no smoking or vaping policy indoors, but we will designate an area outside for you!

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Unfortunately, due to us needing to order a specific number of headsets according to the number of people coming, tickets will not be available at the door and only in advance online.

Mayday Club is a grassroots, neurodivergent youth-led initiative based in Abbotsford, BC. Our goal is to address the inequities faced by neurodivergent, disabled, and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. We provide real-life, relevant, skills-building opportunities for youth. We directly address these populations’ ongoing and systematic exclusion and unemployment by providing them with leadership opportunities, travel opportunities, employment-skills-building opportunities, and the chance to be part of a team and pushed to be the best they can be. We provide youth with opportunities to get involved in the community, and be connected with like-minded mentors.
