There will be dedicated studio time with your current calligraphic project(s), questions, pens, inks, paints; encounter Procreate, the leading digital art app for the iPad; when our librarian is in attendance, browse the BVCG library. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to spend time together and share our love of letters. Bring your own supplies. 16 yrs and up please. Bring a friend. Non-members are welcome.

Do I have to be a member of the BVCG to come to the Drop-In day?

No, everyone is welcome. Non-members may attend two in-person events (meetings or drop-in days) without becoming a member.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes.

Do I have to come for the whole day?

No, you can come anytime between 10am and 3pm to check out what we are doing and stay as long as you like.

Bring a project you are working on (and your supplies) or just bring yourself and see what others are doing.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available at the corner of 13 Avenue and University Drive.

Can I borrow books from the BVCG Library?

You must be a member of the BVCG and attend BVCG meetings to check out and return books to the BVCG Library.

Are there any members who use Procreate for lettering and calligraphy?

The BVCG has a Procreate Club for members who want to learn more about using Procreate for lettering and calligraphy. Members from the Procreate Club are usually in attendance at the Drop-In Calligraphy events.
