Welcome to Allyship in Action: Building Inclusive Workplaces! Join us for an exciting event at Technical University of Munich (TUM) where we will delve into the importance of allyship in creating diverse and inclusive workplaces. Learn from experts, engage in interactive exercises and discussions, and network with like-minded individuals.

This interactive workshop takes place on June 5, 2025, at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) (Room Z534 (0505.Z1.534Z) & Z536 (0505.Z1.536Z)) starting at 9:30 AM and ending with an (open-ended) network lunch at 1:15 PM.

The workshop explores the concept of allyship in professional and academic environments, including discussions on male allyship, alongside other forms of allyship. Through discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will deepen their understanding of privilege, bias, and practical strategies to building inclusive workplaces. The session aims to create a safe and constructive space for reflection, dialogue, and skill-building, empowering participants to encourage allyship in their organizations and become effective allies themselves. We look forward to insightful contributions from our renowned speakers, engaging in discussions with a select group of professionals and academics dedicated to fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This event takes place as part of the TUM Diversity Month 2025.

We are still fine-tuning the agenda, but we will be able to share more details with you soon. So far, we can look forward to the expertise from TUM-IAS Fellow Prof. Ronit Kark (Bar-Ilan University), Prof. David Smith (Johns Hopkins Carey Business School), Eugenia Bajet Mestre (University of Sankt Gallen), Dr. Miwha Seong (King's College London), and Dr. Amélie Haag (Diversity Manager, TUM)

We can't wait to welcome you to our campus at TUM for a morning of learning, exchanging ideas, and fostering alliances!
